I've been inflatable kayaking since the late 90s. I used to carry a 4" barrel pump on all longer trips, and you can imagine what it was like when I had to portage or if there was a long carry-out. The K-Pump is the greatest IK accessory to hit the market since thigh-straps!

I just got the K-200 pump today. It is a very simple and elegant design. I was impressed with the first generation standard K-pump but this pump is as close to perfection as you can get. I like the improvements made to the nozzle end of the pump to add durability and the stability added by the upper gland that the pump tube slides in (while still maintaining an in-flow passage). The small detail added to the handle on the bag, where the two bungee cords attach, so that it can be secured reliably to ones inflatable craft, is a subtle but important improvement. As a mechanical engineer, I appreciate the quality, simplicity, and functionality the K-200 pump provides.

I love this pump! It's two pumps in one. It has two stages. Twist once and get the large volume barrel, twist again for the top off pump. The large volume stage is not quit as good as a Carlson 4", but this pump can be carried on a raft/cat/inflatable kayak a lot easier! I looked at the K-400, a larger version, but liked the size and pumping of the K-40 On overnighters, especially if it's hot, I reduce the pressure in my boat. Some top off pumps take forever to refill a boat if you happen to let out a lot of air. This pump allows you to fill it fast, and top it off.

Hi, thank you for the great pump! I have used your pump at least 10 times in the last months – I love it. It is exactly what it is advertised to be. I originally bought my inflatable kayak Sunny Innova (Gumotex) with Bravo 2 foot pump. It is a nice pump it took me about 15 minutes to inflate the kayak. So I bought Bravo 6 double action hand pump. It was an improvement from the previous pump – it did the job in about 7 minutes. However, it required a lot of power and put much stress on inflator’s back. Every time I would go kayaking with a partner, one would want to help inflate the kayak and in few minutes start complaining about either the back or how hard it is. Then I found k-pump and this does the job in sub 5 minutes, doesn’t require bending or much strength. Now my wife (110 lb) pumps the kayak without much effort. “K-Pump” the great job.
